About the toolkit
The objective of the toolkit is to help facilitate ideation on how anticipatory experiences and interactions can be designed in automotive showrooms.
What does the toolkit contain?
The toolkit consists of 29 cards, including description, guidelines, hints and a QR-code that links to this website. The website lets users deepen their knowledge about a specific card or guideline.

Who can use the toolkit?
Mostly for designers in the automotive industry, but everyone can use them as inspiration in brainstorming or ideation sessions.

How do I use the toolkit?
It is recommended to use it as an idea generating tool during ideation sessions. You can also use it to check whether your showroom follow the guidelines or not. Please see How to use for step-by-step instructions.

Who made the toolkit?
The toolkit was made by two Interaction Design students as their Master's Thesis at Polestar. You can read more about them in About.
Can I trust the toolkit?
The toolkit is based on several research and user studies, which can be read more in the report. The guidelines are not user requirements but rather suggestions.

I don't understand the layout of the cards.
The cards are divided into different sections, such as description, guidelines and hints. See Card layout for a visualisation of their different parts.

Where can I print the cards?
All cards can be found in Ideation toolkit, but you have to save all of the cards one by one. When printing, double the size of a regular playing card (2.5 × 3.5 inches (64 × 89 mm)) for best quality.

Will there be expansion cards?
Not yet, but it is possible that more cards will come. Especially cards like Concrete and Device will be released depending on how the automotive market looks like in the future and what technology it exists.
