Providing people with the required information is therefore important in order to reduce their scepticism and help them receive a better understanding of how the charging of a battery electric vehicle impact the ownership. The way a combustion engine car is charged with gasoline or diesel oil is similar to how a battery electric vehicles is charged by electricity - however there are also aspects that greatly differ. which makes many users insecure and sceptical.

As the driving range of a battery electric vehicles depends on a range of aspects, it is important to provide transparent information and adapted to each customer so that they can understand how owning an electric vehicle may look for them.
How long it takes to fully recharge

In a society where time is money, many customers want to know how often and for how long an electric car battery needs to be charged.
Where charging infrastructure is located

Charging stations are currently not as available as petrol stations which makes people doubt whether it is possible to drive long distances where the car needs to be charged during the trip. Many are afraid of needing to plan much more and fear they will lose the freedom owning a car should entail.
