Description

Looking to buy an expensive or possible life changing product often takes a lot of consideration and thought. Customers do not take lightly on such decisions and take extra care to investigate what it is they are buying. Purchasing a car is a fine example of such a commitment and as studies have shown, most people are reluctant to buying a car if they have not inspected it themselves.
Guidelines
Allow visitors to try the available functions
-
A vehicle’s functionalities are what many people find most interesting to explore as these are technologies that become more and more connected and smart. Allowing people to try out the functions, e.g. infotainment system, connecting their smartphone, listening to the sound system etc. are great ways to show them the value of the car.
Enable visitors to explore the car’s features
-
As with the bullet point above, there are many features people are not yet aware of and are interested to find out more about as cars become more and more technologically advanced. Give visitors the best opportunity possible to explore what your cars have to offer.
Provide a digital, interactive version of the product
-
Digital models can be displayed on numerous types of devices and can easily be transferred between them, allowing seamless access at numerous locations.

Allow visitors to explore in mixed reality
-
Mixed reality is becoming a common way for customers to experience products, services and situations that are not physically available and can be applied on for instance test driving.
